The German Research Foundation (DFG) has extended funding for the Collaborative Research Center CRC 1412 "Register: Language Users’ Knowledge of Situational-Functional Variation" for a further four years. Within the CRC, researchers from the Leibniz Center for General Linguistics and the Humboldt University of Berlin are investigating how our own language depends on the situation we find ourselves in and to whom we are speaking.
