Prof. Natalia Gagarina, Vice Director of the ZAS and Head of the Language Development & Multilingualism Research Area, has been invited as an expert to the panel discussion "Multilingualism: What do Berlin's pupils need?" in the Berlin House of Representatives on December 12, 2023. The expert talk is being organized by the Green Party parliamentary group in Berlin and will take an in-depth look at the two topics of "German as a second language" and "First language teaching" in Berlin schools. The event will take place in person as well as via livestream. All interested participants are welcome to sign up.
